About Us
Founded in 1968 by Managing Director Clinton Burhouse, whilst still a student in London. The company initially concentrated on supplying the then popular lapidary hobby market. In 1974 the market demanded a development into calibrated stones and jewellery components.
We have spent over 35 years continuously developing our jewellery components, gemstone bead and cabochon lines.
In the last decade the business has moved on to the next generation of burhouse family members and with the increasing demand for beading products, the company has been able to enjoy a new outlook. Diversifying into pearls, shell and glass lines and many new findings items across gold filled, sterling silver and plated ranges.
All our repeatable lines are sold wholesale from our extensive catalogues and mail outs available to retailers and manufacturers or by visiting our ever evolving showrooms, which also contain a wide choice of one off bead lines which are added to regularly throughout the year.
We are constantly sourcing and developing new lines and regularly commission our customers ideas for production, with our overseas suppliers or in our warehouse manufacturing facility.
At the beginning of 2007, Burhouse Limited split to create two companies, the bead and findings division has been rebranded as Burhouse Beads and runs along side the sister company Rockshop Wholesale which continues to sell crystals, minerals, fossils and gemstone giftlines
