Burhouse Beads Account Structure

New Traders Account – Annual Spend £0-£500

 For new customers just starting out in business

  • No verification of trading status required
  • £100 minimum order on first purchase
  • Require £500 spend over 1st 12 months of the account
  • Accounts subject to an annual review at our discretion
  • Requires completion of application form and £10 payment for catalogue before able to access our prices

After 12 months

  • If £500 spend for the year reached account will transfer to standard trade account
  • If less than £500 spent customer will be required to spend another £100 minimum order to reinstate account, or provide proof of trade to transfer to a standard trade account. Otherwise account will be closed.

New Traders account not applicable for discounts until £500 spend reached.

 

Standard Trade Account – Annual Spend £0-£2,000

For established businesses

  •  Proof of trade required
  • Applicable for the discount structure & credit accounts
  • The £500 free postage offer is applicable for this account

 

Club Customer Trade Account (A&AA) – Spend £2,000+

  • Our best prices always guaranteed with Best Sales Price list
  • Priority dispatch, we aim to provide next day delivery free of charge even at our busiest times.
  • Handling Fee waived for orders under £25 and reduced postage cost

Customers who reach our club customer status (A or AA) will not only receive the specified discount on each purchase but will also benefit from being offered the BEST SALES PRICE as apposed to our regular sales price.

 Discount Structure

Discounts are offered to customers based on their annual spend as follows:

Discounts are manually reviewed at the start of each year as orders are placed.   In order to carry a discount status into the following year, the annual spend, as indicated above, must be reached.  If this annual spend is not reached, the discount status will be recalculated according to the actual spend in that year.  This may result in reverting back to a lower discount status or losing the discount all together.  Customers spending less than £1000 in a year will revert back to 0% discount for the following year.

From January 1st 2007, only purchases made with Burhouse Beads will determine a customers’ discount.

Website Discounts

As our customer discounts are manually recalculated on an annual basis, any orders placed on the website may attract an incorrect value.  The correct discount will be applied when your order is processed and the correct figures will be shown on your invoice.

Calling Customer Discount

We offer a Calling Customer discount to encourage customers to visit our extensive showroom.  At present this offer is as follows:

Purchase £600* worth of showroom goods (beads & cabochons) and receive an extra £50 discount.

Purchase £800** worth of showroom and counter collection goods (plated components, STS & 9ct findings and hardware) and receive an extra £50 discount.

Send through your picking list for counter collection 24 hours in advance of your visit and receive an extra 2.5% discount on those pre-selected goods.

  *excludes sale items and counter collection goods
**excludes sale items and must include a minimum of £200 worth of showroom goods


Minimum orders

There is no minimum order value for the first purchase or subsequent purchases, but a £3.00 handling fee will be charged if the order is less than £25.00 before V.A.T. This handling fee will be waived for customers with a discount status of ‘A’ and above (club customers).


Order Adjustments

To ensure orders are processed as quickly as possible, we are unable to make any adjustments to orders. Unfortunately you will be required to place a new order which will be subject to separate postage costs.

Product Samples

We are happy to send samples of our products.  These will be charged for in all cases.

V.A.T

V.A.T will be added at the current rate in all cases.

Prices

We reserve the right to alter prices without prior notice.
All prices are in Pounds Sterling (£).

Products

Occasionally, products may vary slightly from the images shown in our catalogue or on this website.
Items marked with "*" are being discontinued.  Once all stock is sold, these items will no longer be available.

Payment

Account Holders have 30 Days from the invoice date to make payments.  
All goods remain the property of Burhouse Ltd until paid for by the customer. If the customer fails to do so, Burhouse Ltd may recover the goods on entering the customers premises or those of any third party for that purpose.

Showroom Opening Times

We are open Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm and some Saturday's.  Please call Sally in sales for details about Saturday opening.

Our telephone lines are open from 8:30am.
Visits are strictly by appointment only with 24 hour prior notification required.  We regret that for insurance purposes, children under 14 years are not allowed in the showroom.  However, we do provide toys and crayons in our waiting room (children must be supervised at all times).

Telephone Orders

Before placing an order by telephone, please ensure you have ready the details of the items you wish to order.  To ensure your order is processed as quickly and accurately as possible, please quote the item reference number.  We cannot be held responsible for errors if item reference numbers are not provided.
 If you are paying by Credit Card, please have your card details ready.

Dispatch


We aim to dispatch orders within 48 hours.
A priority Next Day Delivery Service is available at an additional charge of £3.00 per order (A & AA customers (Club Customers) exempt).  You may also request an 'am' Next Day Delivery Service at an additional charge of £6.00 per order (£3.00 for A & AA customers).

NB: During busy periods, orders may be delayed.
