These 11mm creole style ear hoops have a bead threaded on to the ear hoop which is detachable. These open and close by pulling gently, the wire post can be slotted into the inner of the hoop. Measuring 1mm thick & 11mm in diameter, these can be tricky to fasten once in the ear, but once fastened can be worn comfortably for long periods.
