Trade accounts

If you are a trade buyer (buying for a business/resale), you can apply for a trade account with us to access:

  • Further trade discounts
  • Free postage or contribution towards post costs on orders over qualifying value
  • Accounts over £2,500 spend (12.5%) receive free priority next day dispatch
  • Special seasonal offers

Trade account customer delivery discounts

Freepost over £200

Account holders at 0%, 5% & 10% discount levels receive freepost on orders over £200* UK Mainland (*after discounts and before VAT).

UK Highlands & Isles and Rest Of World (ROW) receive £5.00 postage discount.       

Freepost over £50

Account holders at 12.5% & 15% discount level receive freepost on orders over £50* UK Mainland (*after discounts and before VAT) and priority dispatch with next day delivery (+£3.00 for next day AM).

UK Highlands & Isles and Rest Of World (ROW) receive £5.00 postage discount and priority dispatch.

Trade discount structure

We operate a discount ladder based on annual cumulative spend so the more you spend on your account over the year, the larger discount you receive. Discount is as follows:












Discounts are manually reviewed at the start of each calendar year. In order to carry a discount status into the following year, the annual spend, as indicated above, must be reached. If this annual spend is not reached, the discount status will be recalculated according to the actual spend in the previous year. This may result in reverting back to a lower discount status or losing the discount all together.


How To Apply for a Trade Account

If you are new to our site and haven't yet created an account please complete the form and continue on to the Trade Account section

If you already signed up for a web account with us please click here to complete form requesting a Trade Account and we will review & get you set up


To apply for a trade account, we require one of the following as proof of trading:

• Business website address/Facebook business page/Etsy shop etc

• VAT number (will only have VAT number if over £85,000 sales)

• Two business invoices – either utility bills to business name or invoices from other wholesale suppliers

• Reference from other Burhouse Limited Trade account holder

• Business cheque book


We produce catalogues that are available for trade account customers. Please be aware that prices may be incorrect in these, although up to the minute correct prices and stock details can be found on the website. We also send out mailouts every season displaying our new items. Our new lines can also be found on the NEW section of our website. Burhouse Limited credit account

Trade accounts may apply for a credit account after a period of trading. We use a third party to credit check before agreement to terms.

Credit account holders have 30 days from the invoice date to make payments. Statements are sent by email. If you require a paper copy please contact

All goods remain the property of Burhouse Ltd until paid for by the customer. If the customer fails to do so, Burhouse Ltd may recover the goods on entering the customer’s premises or those of any third party for that purpose.
